英语六级作文：环境
题目要求 1：
世界上污染最严重的二十个城市当中，有十个来自中国，可以看出中国目前的环境污染已经比较严重了，你觉得这是哪些原因造成的呢?应该如何解决?
It is reported that ten big cities in China are being ranked among the top twenty cities with the highest pollution index in the world. This means it is high time we did something to bring the situation under control.
Many factors are contributing to the deteriorating situation: industrial wastes pumped into the air, the lakes and rivers; a increasing number of automobiles crowding into the streets; the
widespread use of plastic bags etc.
To my view, stiffer laws and regulations must be implemented to check pollution. Industries that release wastes without permission should be heavily fined. Cars should be equipped to minimize the exhaust they release into the air. And the use of plastic bags and disposable meal boxes should be banned. Whats more, the media should play an important role in implanting a sense of environmental consciousness into peoples mind.
If everybody works toward a common goal of making the environment better, we can create a cleaner and lovelier world for us and for the coming generation.

Nowadays we have enjoyed an increasingly prosperous life in the wake of enormous social and economic development. But at the same time, we forget that the consequence brought about by rapid economic development. For instance,greenhouse effect,dust storm,haze.
As society develops, people are attaching much importance to deal with the relationship between economic development and environmental.
Economic development is seemingly more important,the country develops much faster and better that it creates enormous job opportunities, improves living conditions and increases government
revenues. However, the environment is becoming worse and worse.In order to protect the environment which we depends on, something must be done.
First and the foremost, we are expected to use public transportations instead of private cars that emit a large amount of exhaust gas. whats more, we can plant more trees to absorb carbon dioxide and build an environment-friendly society. Last but not least, it is surely necessary to complete relevant laws and regulations.
We should remember that our future depends upon what we do right now.

Recently, the phenomenon of students pursue famous brands has become the focus of the public concern.They always do anything in order to buy what they want. What has caused this problem?It is no easy/simple task to offer the reason for this phenomenon which involves more than one complicated factor.
There are two aspects reason as follows. On the one hand,with the development of the economy/society/peoples living standard, we can afford the articles of luxury. On the other hand,the mind of rivalry is the most important reason.The topic of the famous brands is the main idea among the students, they think a famous brand is a symbol
of sophistication and taste.
To change this situation, I suggest that college school students should cultivate positive values and look at things in a proper way.Although brand is the best way to show their status,we shouldnt pursuit brand blindly.students ought to pay much attention to their studies.
